Your time will come....

To the guy in the landcruiser who thought it would be fun to cut me up and then slam his brakes on at Muaither roundabout yesterday and then speed off...I had my 2 year old son in the car!! My child is the most important person in my life and I would do anything to protect him from nutters like you. I truly hope you're not blessed with having children, you don't deserve them. Lucky for you, I was able to brake in time, but the guy behind me didn't. Not only is he in lots of pain, but his car is total right off too. I hope you never have to hear your child cry the way I had to last night...

I hope you are or your friends are on this website. They can see what a sad example of a man that you are. Only a coward would cause the crash and then drive away with a woman and child in the car that had the accident. I'm sure your family and friends are very proud to know they gave life to scum of this kind. Someone should name and shame the piece of .... What goes around comes around !

I have also heard they are slowly trying to drive them away from Doha and into a community so they can keep them contained....

Apparently been used by powers that be in the last two takeover attempts... No scruples and will do absolutely anything for money!!!

Oh, sorry to hear that..I hope your son has recovered from the shock now...

Thats the reason why i avoid driving in QATAR specially..It's like you need to carry your LIFE on your own shoulder while you drive here and i can't take such risk...These kind of people are really nuts and i really wish he should get the lesson anytime soon..

sorry to hear that snessy.

it's true that however we took the best care we could in the roads of Doha, there will always be nonsense wandering souls around who doesn't even give a damn if they would bring hazard to somebody else.

I hope your kid will forget it soon. be safe.

Driving down Salwa Road when this stupid little micro-penised white-dressed speeds past me and then slams his brakes on.

I caught up to him at the next traffic lights without speeding myself.

So that got you really far didn't it you stupid little boy!

Do driving licenses in Qatar come in boxes of Coco Pops now or what?

I was told by a local friend of mine... When you see them coming... run, don't walk, in the other direction.... Bit of a scary phenomenon to think there is one family out there, that send even royalty running....

Thank Almighty your family safe. I hate round abouts of Qatar. Round abouts are not for this volume of urban traffic & young lads of qatar getting thrill out of others sufferring and boasts about it amongst the friends. Next day another will do the same. Its terrible.

Actually the family that inhabits the area of Muaither, are probably the most tribal family out there with little or no education, except the select few... as Oryx will attest too...

Lol Abu, were you referring to the family? If so you, you are spot on;-P

Sorry to hear about your incident. Glad to know that the little one is OK..

To be honest, I can't really see an answer to this stupidity, since most of these guys are already educated and from good families..

By Oryx• 5 Sep 2010 12:57

Really there should be a mandatory IQ test even before being allowed to take driving lessons....esp that area - too much inbreeding.

But then many drive without a licence.....

This is why I avoid driving in Muaither especially as I know who lives there.

Also I have had classes of adult male students where a lot can't see the board even big big print and refuse to wear glasses. And guess what they then get into a car and drive....its horrifying.

I am so sorry Snessy how traumatic for you, your baby and the person behind you. Are there any CCTV cameras that might have caught the guy???

By Ice Maiden• 5 Sep 2010 12:48

Ye Khanan...there are times i would have nearly done that..but unfortunately have to contend with a few choice words muttered to myself.

Don't mind if I am alone in the car, but the same happening when my kids are in the car scares me.

Thanks guys, appreciate your nice words. In the 17 years I've been driving, I've never been involved in an accident, frightened the hell out of me. Lucky for all of us, we always wear seat belts and my son sits in a proper child seat but the other guy didn't have his belt on.
