It is found that my transit visa is wrongly stamped by the embassy. UAE instead of Bahrain. Can I use this to travel to Bahrain by road or need to change.

You are lucky you found it!! Iam sure its the Saudi Transit you are talkin about & i know this is a regular mistake they do.
YOU MUST APPROACH you Agent again & get it changed~!
Consequence:
you will have no problem entering the Saudi Border however you will not be allowed to exit Saudi from the border that connects bahrain.
Remember that Saudi border that connect UAE is Opposite to Saudi Bahrain Border.
You will be forced to exit Saudi at Saudi-UAE border or else you will be fined incase you return back to Saudi-Qatar border without exiting Saudi holding a Trasit Visa.

Otherwise it could generate problems to you at the border control point.
