me,ex student of p.e.c ,well can define this school best of all, because not all the teachers are harsh but some teachers who taught us were very good and they made our life, secondly ,to call all Pakistani schools bad by just considering the behavior of one teacher or good ,is not the output of good brain.

My kids are at BFPS, not satisfied with the treatment of the teachers to my kids, especially my youngest who is at reception II. Lack of attention, creativity, not experienced teacher.

But we have no other choice, that's the only school we can afford. The best way is to be active to enrich their knowledge out of school also.

I don't think criticism on Pakistani Schools in Qatar & on their education system has validity...

susystar!

These Pakistani schools are not the same as those lofty fee oriented international schools which also exist in Qatar, for the elite class only.

Firstly, Keep in mind the two college level schools have federal board curriculum...Pak Shamaa & PEC both are running Pakistani syllabus ... both schools are serving the majority of our community and in general they both suit to our white-collar community, middle & below middle earnings bearers.

As far as the standard of teaching is concerned, I personally experienced at the time of my children a school, that provides a quality (Pakistani) education and in some cases teachers seem into struggle harder than their students, to make them competent.

Students of the School participate a range of activities such as sports, speeches, variety shows, quizzes & every so often they attend conferences not only within their own school but under the ministry of education, expatriate schools, and different Qatari & Pakistani organizations and always return with the flying colors...

Bright future pakistani school is the best in Qatar. Only if u have enough finance to go for int'l schools which are way more expansive than our PAKISTANI schools then you may go there too

.

GOOD LUCK

We, the Pakistanis, are now simply not trained enough or smart enough or honest enough to start anything good enough in any of the field and when it comes to education, it is being self explained in our schools in Doha.

One of them, Pak Shama, has recently been stopped on hygienic grounds? The Pakistani who is running this school, even does not know himself that how much money does He has?

If that prominent business man is like this then think about rest of us!

You admit your kids in BFP School and consider yourself as having no option to do better, if you want to live and work in Qatar.

If you can afford, visit Al-Jazeera academy in Qatar Foundation to get the real good education.

My advice ( you being new to this country ) ..

if you guys any thing like me ..

do not DO NOT put yours kids up at a PAKISTANI school .

( no offense ) . . . . .

i know a lot of people who come out studying from the schools mentioned above .. and all of em are crying about there times there ..

teachers are retarded , beatings ( by the teachers ) are harsh . no extra curriculum activities ..

people who are in to studies will study and will study good regardless to the teachers and environment .

my advice ... look at some other schools .. ( pakistani / indian schools a no no )

and if pakistani school is a must .. or if financial issues ..

i suggest BRIGHT FUTURE PAKISTANI SCHOOL ..

PEC – managed by Pakistan Embassy, very big building area, beautiful building when it was built, it may be same as any other government school in Pakistan.

Bright future Pakistan School is a private school with, moved to new campus and principal, vice principal, teacher are keep changing.

Pak Shama one of the oldest school in Qatar and you will believe that it is old by it’s building and furniture.

I assure you that decision will be difficult, but visit all three and take LCM.
