where can I get a doctors letter to fly BA at 36 weeks?
By Mystic Meg •
I will be flying British Airways at 36 weeks pregnant. The last chance I can fly and I need a letter from my doctor saying I am fit to travel. I am told only Hammad Women hospital can issue this letter now as I am so late in the pregnancy, is this true?
I travelled twice in the last month of pregnancy and nothing happened to me!!
you can go to Doha clinic & they will give you this letter easily, but just call before and ask..best doctor there called D.Maha.
It might be just a little bit too late at 36 weeks, I traveled at 26 weeks and I was asked for paper from the doctor, but good thing I had it handy.
hi dear,
just dont listen to them :p
i travelled when i was 37 weeks and nothing happened, anyway any private clinic can give u this certificate, i got it from aljazeera clinic, just call the directory service, and check with clinic over the phone first,
and bon voyage
take care
Don't take risk dear! it's too late now...It's safe to stay here and post a good news within a couple of days:)
hi there. as far as im aware different airlines allow different times, but the cut off is 32 weeks, unless its a medical emergency. hope this helps
No doctors will give you the fitness certificate to travel this time. Be happy here to see the baby. Good luck!
36 weeks is full term... the baby is ready to come out...the last 4 weeks are when the baby just gets fat...AND YOU WANT TO TRAVEL? Why do you want to risk the babys life or even your life? I doubt ANY sane doctor will give you a letter!
36 WEEKS = 9 MONTHS
"I AM RIGHT ?"
SO YOU WANT TO DELIVER IN FLIGHT "RIGHT?"
YOU WANT TO MAKE LABOUR ROOM TO PLANE ?
WOW
GOOD IDEA
