what if i hav an embasy attested marriage affidavit?

me and my husband came to doha in separate visas.i wil not get a mariage certificate as my family didnt suport it.i hav mariage afidavit attested by qatar embasy.can i stay with my husband with the suport of that?wil it be a trouble when i try for a visa for my child?pls help me.
