What happens to kid’s education, in foreign universities, if one loses his/her jobs in Qatar?

Can someone shed some light over the status of children education if one has to leave Qatar in the middle of a semester of his/her kids, in Qatar Foundation?
Thanks and Regards
If for some reason you have to leave and your kids are not allowed to stay in Qatar than you have a really good reason to continue their studies in the parent campus (i.e. U.S. of A)

If u leave in the middle of the semester, the credits for the courses will not be counted. However, credit from previous semesters will be taken into consideration by the university ur applying to and u'll be exempted from those courses and just continue normally.

should be the same anywhere in the world, if you are in your first year you can change to another university easily, however if you're mid year in another year you just have to get a uni to accept you.
I know that in the UK you have to have studied two years in a uni to qualify for a degree.
