Hi there...

I want to adopt a new born baby from my sister living in Qatar. Adoption in this means only taking the responsiblity of that child not to change tha name or surname...Please guide me the procedure to take that child under my sponsorship as a gaurdian.

Thanks

Check dreema > you can adopt a kid as i understood from the newspapers (al-sharq2 , tuesday 1st of june ) but there is some rules for it , the family who wants to adopt the kid should be a qatari family because they want the kid to be raised in qatar and the parents age should be between 25-45 and lots more .. if any qatari family are interested to adopt ,please , contact dreema. there are two ways to adopt , either the kid join the family or they pay for him/her monthly needs . thanks :)

I dont think you can do adoption in Qatar (illegal). You may do it in your country then you should change the surname to consider the kid as your own child to get the visa under your Sponsorship. Please through the below link.

Pakistani rules i do not know, but definitely you can go to ur embassy and find out.

I recomend adoption but dont leave the kid when it is grown up to do certain responsbilities,if it is a girl baby think on many angles like if u r married does ur wife and in laws accept and does ur kids agree
