Visitor's Visa - Rule Changes

Not sure if there is any truth in this... there is rumour that "the conditions for visitors visas to Qatar changed on 1 June. Apparently you now get a one month visa but once you leave the country (even for a one day trip to the UAE or something similar) you can't come back into the country for 90 days. This is an effort to get people to take business visas instead of tourist visas (business visas are more expensive and only last 2 weeks I think)...."

Does any one know any thing about this at all?

Hi, the rumour relates to a visitor's visa... complete nightmare if this is in fact true...

Are you referring to visitor visas or business visas?

Can someone on visa leave Doha and then re-enter a week or so later or is this prohibited?

You can take new Visa and can come again in the next day now. We done for our clients now, we arranged Business visa in the next wk.
