My profession is marked "EMPLOYEE" in my RP.
Can I have visa on arrival at Dubai/RAK/Sharjah airports. I am working as Technical Clerk.

I have travelled several times to UAE but never tried for visa on arrival. But by road I have obtained visa at the boarder.

Before it was announced that GCC residents are permitted to travel within GCC without visa.

If you've obtained Visa on arrival by land then you should also be granted visa on arrival when flyin..its the same policy.

I still doubt how were you given visa on arrival with an Employee' mentioned on your ID Card/RP.

You may carry a letter from you employer however it normally dosent help because all that matters is you position registered with the goverment i.e. on your RP.

Thank you for the info.

Do you think a letter from my sponsor stating my position and salary will help.
