I know both my ex-wife & I had our own little secrets, she'd confide some things to her best girl-friends (don't you all ladies??!!) & I only knew that as one of them was exceptionally close to me..., I'd confide in anyone that would listen in the pub after work....only joking ;-), no I would tell my best mates (male or female) maybe, depending on just how private it might have been - some things are just too embarrassing to share with anyone other than the mirror lol!
These days what with private email addresses & mobile phone texts etc I think it's very easy for couples to keep secrets from each other, frighteningly so if you want my opinion.
hmmm... i think that would be with regards to secret affairs, both guys and girls... some even have secrets regarding their sexuality that their partner doesn't know about... everyone has skeletons hiding in their closets, I think...
We all have our dirty little secrets of different gravity and meaning... I think that as long as the secret is not kept in the goal to arm a partner (to an emotional level) and that it's not very meaningful to the partner, than i think it's not bad that we all have a small personal garden (metaphorically)
