RP Visit visa for parents

May be the title will be an old topic. But, its a new topic for me. 'm into business here. I have family status. And my wife also have family status. (We are not into family visa).

My concern is, we wish to bring our parents here (aged 66,65) for a visit. for that, do we need to change ourself into family status at first? or do we give a combined letter to the authorities for a family visit? or RP?

What will be the complications probably will arise initially??

Any idea? or any of QL has faced any issue in-regard with this kind?

Myself (and dozens of friends, all pilots in Qatar Airways) had brought parents and in-laws for the past few years, and majority of them being above 65 years-old.They even can extendtheir visa for months, as long as they do medical after arriving. Of course treatment here depends on looking/nationality/language, this is not new. I suggest you get all possible documents/papers, go well dressed to Immigration and don't take the first no as an answer, sometimes the guy next door give you the opposite information. Good luck.

Yes, both urself & your wife should have family status for bringing any blood relation to Qatar. NOt sure whether it is a Law but they will verify both husband's & wife's status first.

2. Above 60 years is difficult to get Visa but still you can try

mamamia, I have seen many "older" tourists in the Sheraton. Normally they stay for two or three weeks. You have to call the hotel to get valid information.

just shared my thoughts to gain some valuable experiences and observations. I believe age is the only barrier and that can be overcome.

@LP... for how long?

The best way is possibly to book them as tourists in a hotel.

You mean your a businessmen. If you're a businessmen your entitle for family status even your parent you can easily bring it here... ask your mandoop since u are a businessmen.

And of course if you are married, both of you and your wife are family status.

above 60's its difficult to get approval from MOI.

Try your luck...
