I have found your post the most recent on this issue so I decided to check with you if you managed to get more info. on this school? Were you able to enrol your child there? Is the standard of teaching as high as they make it seem? Im concerned coz I dont want to go and see it and hear no spaces again. Just give me your feedback please.

Do you have any information about the canadian school? I have applied there and waiting to pay the registration fees after she has been accepted. But the problem that i am worried of is that i am afraid from the level of Arabic language and the Islamic study. I know it is 3 lessons per week for the Arabic language and 1 lesson per week of religion. So do you think it is enough?
And if you have any freinds in the canadian school, what do they think about it?
We are still new here and that's why i have no idea of the best schools there and even when i applied in Parkhouse and montessori and QIS ..all of them have no places and this seems to be a real and common problem here.
Even if you hear that a school is full one day, that doesn't mean it's full the next. Yesterday I heard a newly arrived neighbor say that her daughter just started at the Canadian School. So they have opened it up once again to the public. May close it tomorrow though, you never know!
we may be moving to qatar soon - it seems to be very difficult to get your kids into a school. Which are the best ones to go for for a 13 year old boy who is middle of the school . is it even worth contacting Canadian school?
I was outraged when the Canadian School wouldn't take dd (darling daughter) because she will be 4 in 2008 and they have no class for 4-year-olds. They keep adding higher level grades but they don't want to go down.
Anyway, I'll show them! I'll send my daughter to the Lebanese School. Then they'll be sorry.
Just kidding....I'm looking into enrolling her in the Lebanese School so she can pick up some Arabic. I want her to learn Arabic. It is quite a strategic language.
The school is only in it's 2nd year. First operated for the children of employees of the College of North Atlantic. Then opened up to the Canadian community at large. I have heard it might be closed once again to the public (only employees children allowed in) but I could be wrong. Total enrollment of less than 150 kid Pre-K to grade 12.
