hi mothers .i have started potty training for my 20 months kid.she is doing very well with boobs but beeing is a problem so my question is if i put her in dibar until she is ready fot beeing in the toilett will spoil the whiole thing?please advise
My advice is to take your child to the toilet approximately every 20 minutes within a couple of days he will have become trained without messing your floors and reward him every time he does it in the toilet. I never used the pot my mum told me that children must learn to go to the toilet from the beginning. Some kids take more time than others you will just have to be a little patient. Good luck
My son started not using diapers before he turned 1 year old. He was an amazing kid. What I did was train him to go to the toilet after every meal even if he did not feel like doing so. Then before he would go to sleep I would also ask him to do the same thing, until he was trained enough to tell me if he wanted to pee or poop. You can try also the same technique, but do not force him.
usually peeing should be learned first before pooing...because children pee more often than poo, i suggest to time her, watch for signs that indicate toilet needs, sometimes expressions is more sound to understand that she wants to go to toilet, in this case, do a regular habit of putting her to toilet bowl and explain without strain that she hAs to do it there, rewards can be useful to encourage her..good luck..
hi, as a mother of four and all four children potty trained by the age of two,i will try to help. first of all i assume you are saying she is fine POOPing not with BOOBS and PEEING not "BEEING"? Anyway, i like the "naked and 75 rule": let them run around with a long shirt on, put the potty seat in front of the tv or where ever, read books etc, and let them use the potty when they need to without the fuss of removing layers of diapers and clothes. The "75" part is the 75 dollars you spend cleaning the rugs when it's all finished. :) Also DO NOT put her into diapers once you are training her. The diapers are so good these days that they are not bothered with the feeling of wetness. Instead, try using cloth diapers or cloth training pants with plastic over them. when they go in their pants it feels icky and they start to want to stay dry. they just need to be able to associate feeling "wet" with that tickly feeling in their tummy when they have to go. It takes time, and patience, but if you are consistent and work with them for about a week of staying home close to the toilet you will have a trained child and a happy mom! Good luck.
