out of control teens at ezdan

I have really been trying to be patient... but it is almost midnight... I need to leave to work in a bit longer than 6 hours.Had a very busy and tiring day at work. And all I wanted was to come home and relax.

For my surprise, the massive number teenagers (and their overloaded hormone levels)that have been packing up this place decided... time to party! And of course seeing you cannot expect common sense from neither teenagers nor the management of this place... a match made in heaven!

VERY VERY loud music, screams and more screams of hyper active teens and NO ONE to take charge... to remind these little creatures that some of us actually need to go to work.

Whatever sport events these guys are here for, really... time to go home or at least respect us, the less lucky ones who NEED to sleep!!!

really... i am literally counting down the days to book my one way ticket out of doha. my sense of responsability with my work will keep me here a few more months...

What is amazing is total lack of respect the management of Ezdan has to its residents...the ones who actually bring the money in.

Once more... I wish I was anywhere else but here. Once more, the big fat salary is not enough to convince me to stay here in Qatar anymore than the necessary for the company.

i bumped into the teenagers in k-mart last night.

i dropped my large 6-pack of water on a girls hand as she was trying to push in line. she looked at me and said you saw my hand there, so i said fark off.

they were hyped up on chocolate....i must live in the tower where they're not staying thankfully.

I like the hotel idea!!!

To be honest, to move now... it will be such a hassle... I am all set here, have a driver, all already working along.. will just put on a brave face and move on for a little while longer.

But tomorrow...definatelly...a nice hotel..... good!!! Now can even try and go to sleep... 1:30am... finally have some silence....

good night to you all... thanks for your support!

oh I am so sorry, I hate not being able to sleep in peace and quiet. Is there anyway you can get some earplugs for tomorrow? I think most pharmacies have them. Or maybe treat yourself to a couple nights in a nice hotel?

I get so grumpy when I can't sleep well, so I feel for you!

LOL carol2008, and you are calling for help on QL? Why don't you call 999 and ask them if you can complain about the loud noise? OR, I think maybe you could move out for the remaining 5 months and 4 days?

Does anyone know for how long these people are staying here??? Please, give me good news and tell me they are leaving tomorrow..... PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!

Yes... it is some stupid sport thing organized by locals I guess.

When as residents we asked if the swimming pool could be open a bit later or earlier so we could use it... the answer was a loud and flat NO. Guess... past midnight the pool is open, and looking out of my windown... I can imagine the party will go on for a long time.

And of course seeing it is being "organized" by some local organization... even if we call the police... I dont believe anything will happen. Nothing happens. Ever.

PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE I WANT TO GO TO SLEEP!!! Am I the only one awake here???????

FriedUnicorn... just keep some of them in cages!!!

I just wish I could go there and shut them up. I am so tired and sleepy and just cannot deal with all this noise. And I am on the 17th floor!!!! I wonder the poor residents on lower floors...

And we call the reception and no one gives a rats a**.

Still here... had a period of relatively peace and quiet. ANd also a couple of months working on our head office in Sweden... wich helped a lot...

Arrangement with the company... and to be honest, the problems in this place are not just exclusive to the bad management... I think bad management is pretty much standard in most places like these. After listenin some comments on otehr places... well...

Here i am. But counting down the days to leave: 5 months and 4 days!!!!

...they get pretty obnoxious and there is nobody to reign them in...I have had similar experiences and can't figure whether to spank them or call the cops.
