Nursey Places

What is the general situation regarding places for nurserys at the moment. My 3 year old arrives in January, should I wait until she arrives before trying to find a place? I arrive in November.

Does anyone have a list of nurseries that I could start approaching now.

Thanks

Thanks. I have not arrived in Doha just yet, but am due next month. I will be working for QP on the Corniche and my son will go to Compass International. So a nursey nearby would be great.

I would go and check out places now. You may have to pay for December just to get a place reserved for when she does get here. Where are you living and we can help with good ones is your area? My daughter is 3 1/2 and goes to Starfish Lane Kids - Nursery/Pre-school. I really like it. It's her 2nd year there. Teachers and staff are great. It's by Landmark Mall. Run by 2 Australian ladies. Good mix of nationalities.

go in the qatar groups and look for the mums in doha topic and you will find "mums the word" there have list of nursery schools anything related to kids activities.

I suggest better inquire now so that you can choose a good nursery without being in a hurry at least if your child arrive everything is ready for him.good luck for hunting!

I would wait until you get here.

Nothing much is likely to change in the next month, and once you are here you will have a much better idea of the ideal location for the nursery, be able to check them out, etc.

QL parent-posters will no doubt advise re. place availability, etc.
