My wife has went for delivery and will be returning after 8 months?Any problem with family visa?

You have several Important things to do before your wife can come here...

1)As mentioned in earlier replies you have to go to Passport Office here and explain to them your position.Your wife cannot enter without getting a Re Entry Visa issued which costs QR 500/- as she has exceeded the 180 Days allowed. With this Visa, go to the Visa Section of the Airline she is travelling on and get the Visa Details entered. This will ensure her Boarding in India.

2)Carry the original Birth Certificate etc for the New Born.

3)Also the ticket to be issued for the New Born.

Visa for new born babies

This visa is provided to new born babies who are less than 3 months upon their arrival at the border and there is nor any fees for this visa. No fee QR 200 per day. 1) The baby should be less than 3 months.

2) The baby should have a passport or his / her name should be added in the passport of any one of the parent.

3) To produce original birth certificate of the baby.

4) The parents should have a valid residence visa in Qatar.

5) The mother of the baby should be on the sponsorship of husband (Father of baby).

RP is valid 180 days starting from the passport exit stamp, so you need to extend the visa before the 180 days expiration. Chrck with immigration for the proper procedure to extend. Previously, the charge was QR 500.00 to extend another 180 days. However, MOI always change their policy without informing the masses.
