Moving to Qatar with 4 children
My husband has just passed an interview with QP to work on a rota system on Halul Island. Still trying to work out what moving to Qatar will mean. Presently living in Oman. Does anyone know if QP pays the education for the kids or do they have a school( ages 14,12,10 &8). And how do you go about finding the best schools etc.
Also, if married status based, then QP cover the cost of tuition for up to 4 kids.
Also, as said above, your husband should have a copy of the contract to review and consider before signing, all this should be in there.
british passport can go to DESS or American School ... mind you it is long waiting list. Try to apply as soon as you can.

Which country passport do you hold? QP pays for the community school only.
Just be clear about Rota system, I know that Wife and family never like Rota system. All other money related matters are on one hand, Do consider working in Rota system. I have done 5 year job in 14 Duty/14 Off, My Mother,wife & kid was too much disturb so i switch my job. Living without husband for 14/28 days in new city is bit difficult.

These aspects would have been covered in the interview by teh interviewer. Also, your husband will have at least an e-mail address of the HR person responsible. I suggest that he contacts them directly with any questions that he might have regarding the job and the relocation. It is always better to get such information direct and not via a 3rd party.

I would suggest you to find out same articles in forum, lot of ppl had discussed the same issue earlier :-) adding, QP is a good company, but after all it depend on your job grade accordingly they will pay package and benefits. Most of the package which I had seen, was covered with School and tution fee.. on school front someone will better suggest. My brother is also working for QP for IT dept. He is covered with all basic things!! Hope this info will help you!!
