Mesaieed International School
By gmorris386 •
Hi,
I have been offered an interview at Mesaieed International School to begin next September and was wondering if anybody has experience of the school as either a teacher or a parent? Everything I find online appears to be encouraging.
Also, does anybody have any experience of living in Mesaieed itself? My intention is to spend the first year there on my own for my wife and children to join me thereafter - is Mesaieed suitable for families etc? We're not to fussed on shopping as a passtime, but are very active and keen on sport.
hello, please i have been in qatar since in december last year applying for schools and other jobs, but to no avail. if anyone is out there who could be of help to me in getting a suitable job, please help me out. i stay at mesaieed. thank you
Hi
I'm interested in knowing what the details of the package I should be expecting working at MIS- if you could PM me I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you in advance.

Greetings from the big smoke and happy new year.........now get back to work and get my stuff sorted!

Hello :)
I am considering applying for a teaching position in mesaieed or in dukhaan. could any of you elaborate a bit on the differences/similarities between the two?
I will be there with my family (primary school children)
Thanking you kindly in advance
Hannah
Working as a teacher for QP is a brilliant, brilliant package. You will be working for a huge corporation though, not just a school which is good for many reasons. I have worked and lived in Dukhan and worked at the QP school for 7 years and have no intention of leaving until retirement. I don't know much about the school, there is quite a lot of pollution there though but I believe the housing and facilities are much improved. Why not come for a visit?
Good luck with your appointment, I think the above posters have said most of the things about Mesaieed, now on the Sports side of things, You are just down the road from the sand dunes which attracts a lot of people.
You are welcome. I am staying in Mesaieed. MIS is under MIC amanagement and following British curriculum. I am still have no decision where to continue my son schooling...he is only in Yr 1. I mean whether I need to continue with British curriculum or send him to Indian curriculm school in Doha. What I feel now with my Yr1 boy... In British curriculum, there not much to learn( as of now YR1) as compared to Indian curriculum where Yr1 starts with many home works and writing.
regards,
HI morris.

Hi sjpmsd2011,
thank you for your message, it's good to know - I just keep on hearing good things about both the school and Mesaieed! Fingers crossed for the interview, I hope it all goes well and be out there in September!
All the best!
Hello Morris...
Mesaieed is a nice place where you can enjoy.. it is 35 kms away from Doha. I know the school well ( as my son is studying there), it is a nice place to work for you. In Mesaieed there are many family accomodations and the recently build community is QP family villas and it is very safe place for families. I hope we can meet in September... :)
Cheers!!
