Medical Spa

I just needed to let you all know that there is a shocking hair dresser at Medical Spa. She is Tunisian and unfortunately she is also the Manager... so my complaints never reached the owner (the manager just hangs up the phone whenever I call to discuss the matter). I asked her for subtle highlights for my wedding and she did the worst highlights ever. They started over an inch from my scalp, so I looked like I had regrowth before even stepping out of the salon! She gave me bright bleached stripes... not at all the subtle blended highlights that I asked for. Further, she spent the entire time gossiping about the other members of staff, which was not pleasant to hear - totally unprofessional. She is an absolute shocker and I do not recommend any one go there. I used to go there a lot, but having dealt with that impossible woman, I just can't stomach spending any money to assist in making the business successful.

I do not recommend going there... Buyer Beware!!

Hi,

I have had two experiences there, and am not likely to have a third.

1. I went to get my eyebrows waxed. They looked absolutely FANTASTIC! The only problem was the wax was so hot, I got a little burn! When I went in the next day to show them, they said "oh". I would go back to the same lady as she did such an awesome job and I would just ask for her to turn the heat down.

2. I went to get my hair trimmed. I had an appointment for when they first opened so there was a bit of running around getting organised. No problem, I'll enjoy my tea. She couldn't find her scissors. And I guess the other hair stylists don't have any, either??? That's okay, I'll sit and wait while I get a nice shoulder and neck massage. The stylist comes up to me and I saw a flash of scissors in her hand. Great! I do what I always do, get immersed in my magazine. She's cutting away for a bit then one of the assistants comes up and says, "I found the scissors." I look up and see a pair of small, silver, sharp hair cutting scissors. I'm confused...what had she been using to cut my hair? I notice a blue handle on the scissors. Two snips later I was done. When I went to pay, I saw the blue handled scissors at the desk. She had used every day scissors in my hair. I was so shocked I didn't say anything. On a side note, why does every salon have a separate charge for shampooing, cutting, blow drying and styling?

Alexa, you should tell the woman that owns them that she is being short changed, as she is losing customers because of this horrendous woman.

I'd be very happy to tell her of my experience if she wants to get some customer feedback.

The other girls in the salon look really unhappy and having their boss backstab them in front of a client... I can see why.

She also works in Paris Nails in Landmark. She cuts a pretty decent bob but man she is sour.

Hi again, yep... that's her; badly dyed red streaks in her hair and red glasses, very harsh looking woman. Never a smile on her face.

I don't know if they have any directors, as I can't seem to get any information out of any one there. It's such a shame, as I often went there before and would have happily accepted a credit to another part of the salon (I certainly would not have gone there to remedy the zebra stripes she provided), but they provided some other good services.

Yep, not respite when manager's are workers... though I think if she was in any way competent (as a hairdresser or a manager) it would have been a different outcome.

When the manager is also the worker....then there is no respite....lol

Do they have a board of directors.....
