LOVE CASE

By phoebe

Does having an affair/relationship with the opposite person is not allowed here in Doha?
They said the only what you called “couple” here is only the married person. What about BF/GF relationship is it not allowed at all? Because they said if somebody caught you.. you will be put in jail and they will call it as “love case”.

So if you plan on living together with you BF, make sure you don't make any enemies who knows about your situation, or else, CID will be banging on your door asking for PATAQA and proof of being a COUPLE.

It's not because things are difficult that we don't dare, it's because we don't dare that makes things difficult!

I got caught with my pants down in the toilet once in one of the clubs in Doha.. I think I forget to lock the toilet door in the mens rest room.. The guy who walked in was well embrassed.. There was me whistling away after downing a half dozen pints of that black and white stuff.

Lucky for me no one reported me otherwise I would be back in the Island of the greats where I came from..lol

Well don't agree with that Gypsy.. My colleague's 13 year old daughter was stoped by the police as she was travelling in a taxi with her 13 year old boy friend..

The police claimed that they saw them trying to smooch each other, where as Girl was only leaning over to get her hand bag from the other seat..hmm

There is only two cases that will not get you in trouble, act like if you are brother or sister or behave like an old married couple in both cases you are guaranteed to keep your distance from each other..lol

Yup. There's nothing at all wrong with going on a date, as long as you don't kiss, hold hands or do anything else remotely sexual.

Actually bf/gf relationships are NOT forbidden or banned (again no showing public display of affection), however if your gf/bf happens to be someone else's hubby/wifey then yes that is a NO NO! Also driver and maids are not allowed to mate! They cant bear to see little vermaids running around.

so it's agreed, they shouldn't put anything on the newspaper that will deter people.. heck, there'll be no more news left.. :P

By anonymous• 12 Apr 2009 13:01

I think they also should not put news about suicide bombers in the paper. It might deter people. And the pirates of the Somalian Sea. And the road accidents. And the companies which don't pay salaries. All this should be banned. People will copy it.

By GodFather.• 12 Apr 2009 12:58
GodFather.

According to the Gulf times.. One of the Scholars from a local mosque delivered the Friday Sermon saying that they should not post any news of this nature like illicit relationship and adultery in the papers as this invites other people to copy..hmmm I thought it would deter people..

i have heard of this, phoebe, and it is tagged as "love case." this is when a person is caught in the act of being intimate with another who is not his legal spouse. it's not about bf/gf, if there is no sex or living together involved.

needless to say, it still happens everywhere anyway. just dont caught, lol.
