As per my knowledge you need a visa if your baby is more than two months old.Last year i bought my son who is 10 weeks old and they asked for the visa.Luckily i was ready.

you can bring upto 3 months without visa, you should have birth certificate ( original) attested and passport for baby,

According to my information you can bring the infant upto 3 months with passport alone and subsequently stamp visa here.
