It is better to take your child to a kindergarten in a school, this way you guarantee she will have a place in year 1. Places at good schools are getting more and more scarce.

I have two kids at Newton British School. My wife, my children and I are really happy with the school. I know they have a kindergarten, why don't you try them.

Please also don't go by what others say, you need to go and see yourself. We went to many schools before we decided to go to Newton.

If you are open minded and want an good education for your child, I DON’T RECOMMEND CESK NURSERY AT ALL!!!

The frontin is British but its politics is the most closed Qatari.

Children don’t have an assigned room so Cesk don’t give them a sense of belonging. Children can not to identify with a space in Cesk, they go wandering and each hour are changing of room.

The teachers and assistants are very poorly paid and the “break weeks” are deducted them but you should pay for all the days...

You don’t have right to claim anything, the most important thing is not that the child or parents are ok, the most important thing is that the child meets what Cesk have to give ... very bad policy.

My daughter and me had very bad experience in Cesk.

I recommend 100% Busy Bees British Nursery. My daughter is really happy there since 1 year.

For someone with a superiority complex, you should really proofread what you type. Not only what you write, but how you write it, reflects on your character.

By the way, all of the *big* schools (except ASD) accept children at age three. Unfortunately for you, the registration process is all but over now and the likelihood of getting your child into preschool at one of the *big* schools is quite low at this point (especially DESS).

Good luck!

1. Starfish Lane Kids - they have 2 campuses (markhiya and Duhail)

2. The English Kindergarten - in Abu hamour

3. Central English speaking Kindergarten (CESK) - in front of Doha College

4. Elder Tree (one in Hilal and one in Ain Khalid)

5. Busy Bees.

The big schools (Doha College, DESS, ASD, DBSM, Park House, etc.) have nursery class but I don't think they take children less than 4 yrs. old but you can also check with them because the earlier you can secure a place for your child in these big schools then the better. As you are a UK citizen, DESS would be the best for your child and for you as well.
