Kids on the loose

I just wanna share my not so good experience last nite.

I was walking with my girl cousin last nite along the bank street it was quite early around 7 in the evening. We were wearing very decent clothes and i think mine was a bit boyish. But these little kids (i think around 10-12 yrs. old)were at the back and saying these statement: "You want money? You want oney? 500?"

At first we just ignored as I thought they were just talking to each other, but then one kid came a bit closer behind us and I could'nt stand the attitude anymore. I turned my back and told these kids: " You know what you can stop taliking like that!" Then they just bugged off.

It really offended me and I guess this forum is appropriate to put my story. Plus it's just so racist for me and it really went to my nerves last nite.

well i did also have the same experience....i was walkin the area near the airport with best friend girl....guess wat ...some couple of kiddos starting to follow and some were daring to bump into her ....callin out loud tryin to grab our attention...well wat else i can do ...jus ignore as much ..much soon they did get into my nerve ...1 of them was riding his triciycle(wat a jerk 12 yrs and still a tricycle..jus a bigger version)recklessly near a parking lot...all i needed a good reason to trash them...so i jus purposely stood infront of the kid with the bycycle...tryin to prove a pro with his bike ..he slipped past me it was impressive ..however bad luck ..his bike skid and digs himself into the back of a brand new suv....next sec ..they all disapeared in thin air....wooow i say that was fast .....lol............

Haha dont worry about it, its the older ones u need to worry about. Kids are always going to be kids. It doesnt have to be from what theyve lernt from their parents. It could be from what they see on tv or from friends or anything. Anyways thats not the point. Its the older guys who can cause u more trouble. coz unlike the kids they wont back-off when u shout or even threaten them with the police ! So yeh just becareful out there. Im not saying that u do this or anything, but try not to pull too much attention to yourself when ur walking in the street. I nerly got arrested for pulling to much attention to myself once. but thats a diffrent story !

"You want money? You want oney? 500?"

What exactly is oney? Perhaps he was selling honey for 500QAR?

Anyways if what you are saying is true, I agree with Vegas, only 500 how disrespectful, you being an expat!

Breaking news! They are looking for 2 girls suspected of being involved in a break-in yesterday evening on bank street, one of the girls was in disguise, appeared to be dressed a bit boyishly!

Don't get angry with me! I'm only typing what you are thinking!

when we were walking in the neighborhood to buy something in the nearby al meera... we tried to ignored them but when they wont leave us we told them we will call police... they backed off immediately... lesson learned, never walk in that neighborhood again if you have a car anyway ... lol... :D)

seriously, i feel sad for these kids. young as they are they can talk like that. definitely they hear it from the adults...

"where are these kids parents? don't they teach them some manners at all?"

- MANNERS? they don't even know what that word means and they don't even know that word exists!
