Is it unsafe Ezdan 3?
Two dogs attacked a four year old boy yesterday. Situation was highly pathetic. This is the third time dogs attacking the kids, but still dog's owner is not serious about the incidents. And he is not taking any action to control his dogs. Among the two dogs one is still roaming in and around Ezdan 3. So respected tenants please take care of you and your kid’s valuable life.
So why is no-one following up with the police? When we reported a dog attack, the police confiscated the dog within 48 hours, it had to go into 7 days quarantine and then it was euthanised.
Chelsea,i like pets too,but here in this case the child was severely wounded. Dog jumped to the child and bite, when a man catch the child the dog tried to bite the child again by jumping, then it turned to man. Then more people came and dogs chased away. If the man little late the scene would be a disaster. Police and ambulance were called and the severely wounded child taken for emergency treatment.
When it happened first time, before one month police came, this time also police came. This dogs are really a threat to compound.now a days the park is almost free,no kids playing there !!!!
Ezdan is not the problem so your title is misleading
Gee you guys give such great info. Poisoning, shooting or in any way hurting another person's dog will just get you into trouble, regardless of what the dogs "supposed" to have done. If it's not reported to the police - they won't believe you.
There are far more humane ways of euthanising a dog should it be necessary, and that decision is only to be taken by the police.
However, the police would need proof that the dog was dangerous before making the decision to have the dog euthanised.
I've been in Qatar long enough to know that "attacking" can mean a whole number of things. Without more information, nothing can be decided. For all we know the dog just ran up to the kid & jumped up at it. Scary for the kid, yes, but not an aggressive act.
I hope such incidents never happen again.and the authorities take fast action to stop this.
In Qatar, human life is more important than animal life. I think Police will teach lesson to animal lover.
Yes you are right..Inshallah will contact my friend asap..Someone's gotta do the needful sooner than later!
Dear Fathima,
Why you worry about this. Without worrying, go with your family friend and report to the police. They will come and do the necessary steps to sort out this issue as especially attacked a four years old boy.
So don't be late dear.
Please take the advices of chelsea and deedee and report this to the police..asap. The lives of many tenants can be at risk due to these dogs. Mind you one of my close friends and her three kids, two of them very small, stay there so this incident has me deeply worried..Audubillah!
The authorities are not "concerned". Hahaha.
Dear,
Any one (staying around) call to police station. They will sort out this issue very easily by reporting to the concerned authorities.
So don't be late.
Report this to the police. There was a rottweiler a couple of years ago that bit several people (including a child) and the dog was confiscated and euthanised.
The police will take it seriously and you MUST report it before something serious happens.
This is serious and not to be taken lightly. The owner should be charged. Several years ago there was a dog lost in front of our compound. big german shepard. When it ran toward a woman out walking near the Shafallah center the police shot it 8 times.
That's horrible...but can't this be reported to the concerned Authority...I am sure they can tackle the issue.
