Im pregnant, can i still work in qatar?

Im planning to work in qatar and visa is all ready through sponsorship. but i learned today that im pregnant, can i still pursue working there? or i am not allowed to go?

First of all, According to labor law, the maternity leave can be given after one year full service which is for 50 days. In your case means that it will be less than one year. Again it is depend on your negotiation with your company.

2nd, to process on Resident Permit you have to gone through medical check up which include X-tray (I think it is a must)which not possible in your condition.

Last, eventhough pregnancy is not a disease, but it is naturally cause our body to be weak and need extra care. Starting new job, would take lots of efforts and it would effect on your health.

Why can't you wait? As I did :)

Its always better to clear such problems with your sponsors. In Hamad hospital(govt hospital qatar) first one year this is not allowed as per my knowledge.
