I am moving with my husband and my son he is 19 months old, i want 2 bedroom flat till 10000rq, i was checking dubizzle, cos this webpage was very usefull while we were living in Dubai, but i dont know how updated it is for Qatar. Thx for the answers guys

Estoy muy feliz que hay habalntes de castellano en doha,yo soy profesora de espanol, tambien quieria saber si hay posibilidades para encontrar trabajo en ese campo!?! la ide de estos barios familiares o cerador, me parece bastante interesante :)

Aca no existen los barrios malos, todo depende de los servicios que te ofrecen en el edificio, casa o barrio cerrado al que te mudes.

Te aconsejo que mires bien antes de elegir porque aca lo que parece muy lindo por afuera suele terminar teniendo graves fallas por adentro...pero eso es algo endemico aca por la calidad de la mano de obra y la rapidez con que demuelen-construyen.

Los barrios cerrados son populares con las familias de expats y ofrecen una buena oportunidad para que las mujeres, si no trabajan, hagan sociales para no morirse de aburrimiento (cosa bastante frecuente x aca, especialmente en el verano).

Eso depende mucho de lo que estes buscando, de cuanto te den como housing allowance y de si tenes chicos.

Aca no existen barrios "malos", salvo el Industrial Area adonde ponen a los pobres tipos que vienen a laburar en la construccion. Lo que si existe y es muy popular con las familias son los barrios cerrados (nunca entendi porque, si aca es muy seguro), y estan por todas partes. Los que te dicen "The Pearl" viven en otro planeta, a menos que te guste vivir en un paraiso artificial bastante alejado de la ciudad(ojo, en terminos de Doha). Los barrios cerrados mas populares con los expats son Ain Khalid y Beverly Hills, aunque hay muchos mas. La verdad es que no importa tanto aca en que barrio estes sino que beneficios te ofrece tu edificio, tu casa ("villa") o tu barrio cerrado, como ser pileta, gimnasio, etc.
