If Indonesian Government offces close for 3 weeks for Eid?

Dear Indinesian members of QL,

I am dealing with an indonesian housemaid agency that tells me that the maid i selected cannot travel as her passport is under process and the passport office has been closed now till 20th Sept? If this is true, that these offices close for 3 weeks?

i can surely say no.... but it is indonesia so who knows..... :P

what i can say here is, maybe d maid wants to spend her last eid with d family before working abroad. from my own experience as a native indo, they always say, nobody wants to work before eid n only available after eid... :P

hopefully this is help to answer ur question... :)

n not hoping d maid will show up before eid...
