AND REMEMBER THAT EVEN IF THEY ARE MARRIED LEGALLY IN PHILIPPINES WITHOUT APPROVAL FROM THE GOVERNMENT HERE THAT MARRIED CERTIFICATE WILL NOT BE HONORED.

If they married legally with the approval from the government YES she can born the baby here and the baby will have Qatari passport but without approval from the gov. OMG! she is in trouble and her partner.

there are 3 types of marriage here.

1. legal marriage if the local husband get the approval from the Gov. then you can raise and born a child here.

2. Zawaj misyar this is also legal but you cant raise and born the child here.

3. Zawaj muta'ah this marriage different just to be legal in the eyes of people.

i hope it can help your friend.

if your friend is REALLY married in the philippines to this local guy, as you say... tell your friend to have the marriage contract authenticated in the phils (just to be safe).

have your marriage recognized here in qatar. your friend's husband will have to acknowledge her as his wife.

after all this... i hope they will live happily ever after!!!

congratulations and good luck to your friend!!!

If she is going to deliver the baby here, make sure she has a legal marriage document with her always, the original one..who knows the local guy will turn his back on her, then she will have enough proof for the authorities to take the action at the time of trouble.

If she has no documents, its better to deliver the baby back home in phil.

I don't think she has got anything to worry.

If there is any trouble to be faced... it will be her local husband. So let her talk to him so that he can resolove the issues with government official.

As long as she is under the sponsorship of the compnay that is owned by him and she has the marriage certificate issued by Philipines government, she will not have to take much trouble... it is her husband who should be worried and needs to find-out a soluation.

yes of course, as long as her iqama is still valid, she can come to doha, and deliver the baby here, no probs at all, if they are really married huh, if not, better stick to where she is right now.
