My child's Resident permit got expired last month(March 31). He is outside the country now. May Some one help with the details of how I can bring him back to Qatar.
Your help will be really appreciated.
As Mr.Bijumon said also applicable whoever RP expired more than 3 months out of country. in that case u get ur child by visit visa and convert here with new RP here itself. provided ur all wife RP should valid.
if less than 3 months means get return visa from airport for entry as i explained before.
Same happend to mycase. Before 2 weeks to child fly from ur home town, apply at airport immigration counter no.2,( 500 QAR+ ur RP+ur wife RP+child RP with passport copy and one form is there tio write) they can provide return visa. from that date u have to enter within 2 weeks.
Note; From RP expiry date of ur child within 2 months, you can get this return visa. Once enter do within a month renewal.
2, the departure date of ur child should not more than 1 year.
3, this return visa apply applies for who ever stay more than 6 months out of country also.
Qatar immigration given relaxation for family RP only like this.
Nothing to worry. Same thing happened with me. According to my exp, the easiest way to bring your child is to apply for a visit visa once your kid reached here you can apply for RP. If you want to clear any doubts please don't hesitate to contact me on 55384179
to renew your RP, the person must in Qatar. The only option i can think of is that you can get your child on a family visit to Qatar and renew the RP (within the grace period).
The problem is though you have a grace period, the Immigration in India wont let him fly here as his RP has expired.
FS, One question. Holder of the Passport is officially out of Qatar and how can he/she renew the RP without entering the Country? I dont think getting the Passport by courier will help. One month grace period is only for the renewal but you will not be able to travel or enter the country without a valid RP. There should be some other way.

I think you have one month grace period. Get the passport by courier, you can renew it in one day.
