I am planning to move to Qatar from India. My parents are 60+. Is there a provision to move them to Qtr ?

Thanks a lot guys. Its a bit confusing but I guess I get the point. Its better to go back and meet them in India, rather than asking them to come here.

cant bring your parents if they are over 60 years. you might get hotel visas for three months or six months visit if they are above the limit, i guess.

Qatar is in par with Dubai now a days so rules are changing overnight and there so many latest updates on visa. its always better to call the immigration department for furter clarifications.

besta luck.

You will have to get special permission from the dept. citing that they dont have anyone else to look-after them other than you.

This is not normally allowed but in special cases it is.

If you buy a property here you get a 5 year renewable visa. This includes yourself, spouse, children and parents. The visa keeps getting renewed every 5 years as long as you still own the property.

Good luck!

best you can do is 6 months visit.
