This is the info provided to me by QR when I travelled last May of this year:

From the beginning of the 29th week up to the end of the 32nd week:

- For Single/Complicated free pregnancy, you will need a medical certificate from a qualified Doctor. (The medical certificate template can also be downloaded from www.qatarairways.com.)

- A Multiple or Complicated pregnancy would require medical clearance from Qatar Airways. Fill the Medical Information (MEDIF) form (Available at Qatar Airways office) by your attending Doctor and submit it to the local Qatar Airways office for processing.

From the beginning of the 33rd week up to the end of the 35th week:

- For Single/Complication free pregnancy, you will require medical clearance from Qatar Airways through MEDIF.

- A Multiple or Complicated pregnancy will not be accepted for travel on board Qatar Airways flights

Any pregnancy case, from the beginning of the 36th week will not be accepted for travel on Qatar Airways.

Hope this help. Regards.

The Qatar Airline allow to fly up to 7 months pregenency but still you need to have a doctor's letter to show them while you checkin for flight.

My friend's wife went a bit late and 8th month was already started and the doctor's letter was expired however on request they gave her an exception.

Travelling up to 7th month is within their policy so you don't have to worry about it.

I had travelled by air back 2,5 years ago when I was only 5 months pregnant, and with doctor certificate mentioning I was fit. But a week after the travel, I lost my baby coz of the cabin pressure (that's what the other doctor said).

My advice is "dont risk your life and the baby" if is not that urgent, dont fly"

If I am not wrong international airlline rule is before 7 months. They make sure no deliver on their filght because they have to pay for some price to the life of baby

Most airlines allow you to fly upto about 30 weeks and even later if you have a letter from your midwife/doctors saying you're fit and healthy.

Yes ... Qatar Airways allows air travel in Sixth Month of Pregnancy. My wife did so few months back ... BUT, U have to get a letter from your doctor. Medically, air-travel is allowed upto 32nd week of Pregnancy. And yes, make sure that the letter from the doctor or hospital shall be within One (1) week of Air Travel. A very old letter will not do.
