It is illegal if you are male and all the other guest are young girls or vice versa. As long as they are family and non alcoholic treat it is not a problem
Hi. Legal or illegal, you shouldn't create any problems to your neighbours or pedestrians. I too heard that there is a problem but clarified that with a number of my friends. They all said that there was an incident recently at one of the residential area of Doha. The guests of a small party parked their cars invariably at the parking spaces close to the house, actually belong to other residents of the area. It is quite natural that people will have to call the police to clear the mess.
