Follow ups for newborn after delivery

Where should we take a newborn baby for a controls, vaccination, follow ups after delivery?

Please avoid answers like "call 180, take numbers of all hospitals and start calling one by one". I'm asking here hoping that someone with recent experience can give me advice.

Thanks.

Usually vaccinations are done in the Primary Health Centers of Hamad Hospital. Go to the health center which you belong to. Regulary just after birth, they give the baby the BCG and Hepatitis vaccine as well as the first hearing test. When the baby is 1 month old, the 2nd phase of the hearing test is done. The next vaccine will be on the 2nd month. Just make sure that you have the vaccination card. Usually they have vaccinations on specific days of the week, as well as they do on mornings and afternoons. I suggest once you know where is your health center, make the necessary inquiries about the schedule. For routine well baby check ups, I bring my baby to private doctors since she can be seen immediately. If I go to HMC then I still have to be on a very long que.

You can take your new born to any hospital of your choice..Like suppose if your wife has opted HAMAD for delivery, she can visit HAMAD even after her delivery for your infant's regular check up..

Like in my case, i had opted DOHA CLINIC and continued even further for my BABY's vaccination and even for small issues like baby's cough or minor fever...
