hello
I want to put my three years old daughter in a nearby nursery called first step nursery , does anyone have his kids go there ? what is it like ? is it safe and clean ? if someone can help please
Thanx..hey could u tell me how do we get online on this page??chatting..cz i can see that ppl are online but i dnt know how to get in touch with them...like how cn i chat with u..?
extraordinary, please don't say that! That nursery has done wonders for my little one and she absolutely loved it! Its a great nursery for that age group so please don't be hard on yourself!
Thanx a million for ur support..well,for the time being i dnt hv any other option other than to send her there cz its near our residence so easy to pick n drop..Wish i had a beter job so that i could do better things for her..
extraordinary, the nursery is perfectly acceptable for that age group. My daughter has now left there as I felt she needed to be getting used to a British Curriculum before going to school. The teachers are wonderful and have alot of children to care for!I can't express the affection my daughter had for a couple of the teachers there and still talks about them. Please don't worry!
Hey,i just got to read all the comments that u guys posted abt first step n now im damn confused..i jujst put my 1 and half yr old daughter out there and she has been going there for almost a week..Well, i cnt judge anything from just a week but are u right abt their teaching methods..Laila is taking care of my daughter and they stilll dnt hv any teacher for their class,Rania said that they will b arriving on 7th???Any idea how reliable it is??
mmmmmdo Rania and Laila work at fun first as well as First Step?Yikes..they're busy!....Redsnow get it right FFS we're not talking about FFN we're talking about FSN
redsnow, i'm sure they do and we did have a private conversation as it happens and I don't give a flying toss if they know who I am...should I need to worry?? mmmm sounds ominous.....
Supernurse and Real life, I think next time you should have a private conversation, I'm sure Rania, Laila and all the people from FFN know who you are.
Don't be upset.....its obvious that you need to move nurseries.....don't wait until you get completely stressed! If that what Rania says then maybe it is for the best........at least the baby is young enough to be adaptable!.......Good luck, I'm off to the nursery in a minute!
"It is dangerous to be sincere unless you are also stupid." - George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)
no you are the first one cause i don't have any contact with other mum i just drop my baby and then leave.
Cause I don't know what to do now i am really confused and upset.
on wendnesday i droped my baby to the nursery Rania told me "come pay the fees" I told her no I won't i want to take my baby out to put in other nursery. she said it is better for him
I went and saw the Marry poppins nursery they are great and they give everyday a scheduale of what the babies do during the day and they have books and stuff to work in
mmmm.....I'm taking it all in!I am a bit concerned about the teacher to child ratio I have to admit and would have non seconds thoughts about moving her if I felt things were not right.....have you spoken to any other mums?
"It is dangerous to be sincere unless you are also stupid." - George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)
yes this subject is always bothering me too much even her answer amazed me from that day on i put a point on them liela is perfect and she can teach the kids cause before my baby new things but now he forgot it. but they are overloading her.
Before Rania came there was a syrian teacher who took good care of their educational system.
But from the first day rania came evrything changed imagine to make sure that the food of my baby I put them in the freezer cause i don't trust them anymore.
i feel her doesn't care for our kids she come spend some time and leave. and i am very upset of this matter.
and when u talk to her she says "these are philipine who hire philipine" but what i recognized all the nursery philipine and all the kids are different from our, so i started to think it's not the teacher it is the administration who making the nursery down
real life, then you must move, its obviously upsetting you and its such a big thing a childs education. I've got my daughter there because I need the extended hours and the Saturdays really but if I felt her development was being compromised I would move. Your comments have alerted me a little and I will be more watchful in future........ Do what you feel is the best thing
"It is dangerous to be sincere unless you are also stupid." - George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)
She told me to take my baby and put him in the elder tree nursery because First step is a bad nursery and they don't teach well.
from that day on i had a comment on her and couldn't handle it anymore i started to see their wrong treatments for the kids.
And i wanted to send my baby to school this year and after the interview they told that my baby doesn't know anything how come he is in a nursery and doesn't talk well.
i made a research and I found too many nursery's better than this with same price.
yes, I know her.......funnily enough, my daughter does have an odd accent and I have to tell her to pronounce her 'v's properly! what did Rania say? she says 'Bala' alot not sure what language that is!......

Maybe if you speak to the manager about it, I have recently felt that there are quite alot of kids for the teachers.....Teacher Rose is on hols and I don't know if they have replaced her.......

yes leila she is great she is loving and take good care of the kids I like her lot she is like a mumy to the kids but i feel lately that he has too much kids and can't handle it.
But now after you told me about your kid i was amazed cause my baby is not talking and he doesn't know anything and i can't feel that he is getting better.
Can I know who is her teacher name cause i am really talking that my child didn't get any better after going there and recently after Feb he got worst my baby doesn't know neither the color nor the shapes and ven i am thinking of changing his nursery.
real life....I have first hand experience with this nursery.......junior is the same age and has come on so well after being there........she can count to 10, knows colours etc has almost full conversation, I think educationally they are great!

Reallife,
I simply wanted to say that was when you say:
"don't tell Rania we talked about her"
It make me smile, we are in a huge forum, a lot of people reading it and you never know who it could be.
It only sound to me like a private converstion that it, it wasn't a big deal.
I think that the reaction of supernurse wasn't apropriate.
