family resident visa

greetings!

i just recently found this site which is very helpful for those people who dont have any idea where to ask questions regarding living in qatar.

i myself was new to the place because my husband just recently went there...i would like to ask anyone how long does the application for family resident visa takes? i mean weeks? months? as far as i know my husband told me that he had filed ours last april...its already june and everytime i ask he keeps on saying that its still on process...

as i finished my FInger Print and medical procedure i hope i will get my resident visa soon. but i want to know is ther any option to take resident visa for my wife along with my visa. is it required 6 months salary sttmnt.is it must?. in my case how i can arrng 6 month salary sttmnt.?

anybody know how to take rsident visa for my wife in this stage?

Resident visa (Resident Permit) could be proceeded only when you are in Qatar. To get here you'll need just Visit Visa. For 1-2 mounths it may be dificult for him to get it, depending on the sponsor, salary, nationality and so on.

at first he can take a visit visa for u for 6 months.. and in the meantime he has to get his salaries transferred to a bank from his company for 4-5 months after which you can take a residence permit. I guess the min. salary is about 5000 riyals

normally for philipines it is not difficult if he is getting salary in range of 5 - 6 k plus should not be an issue.. but again contact and links works. here
