Experienced Nanny Available

Hi there,

My name is Emily and I am currently studying nursing and midwifery at University in Australia. On my holidays I would love to come to Qatar for 3-4months and experience the life and culture and at the same time help to nanny a family.

My holidays begin mid way through December. I speak basic Arabic and French. I am very friendly, creative and reliable and have made great friends with both the children I used to babysit and their parents. I have also had experience with special needs children. I do not mind household chores and cooking.

If you know anyone who would be interested please contact me.

Be careful, apart from the not being able to be sponsored Qatar is not really the place to be a nanny.

Nannys in Qatar are not the type of nannnies that one would see in the western world. Nannies are nothing more than skivvies or housemaids in this country and you run the risk of your goodwill being abused. Please please don't come here as a nanny, although you will surely get an 'experience' it may not be quite the experience you are looking for!

Be very very careful! Also, for your own safety remove your email address from your post! Good luck with your career though :)

You won't be able to get a visa and no family will be able to sponsor you as a nanny.  If you come on a visit visa and work, you will be illegal and you and the family are subject to prosecution, fines, etc.
