employing a maid wihtout an RP

We know a Sri Lankan maid who has let her RP slip (march '10) she wants to stay in Qatar for another year and we would like to employ her - but legally. Does anyone have any advice on how to go about this or should we stay away and find another maid - that would be hard because we trust this maid. Any advice would be appreciated.

It is not adviceable to keep a person wihtout a valid RP. Better to contact her former sponcor and get everything cleared and or else contact the Sri Lankan Embassy for more infor.

I strongly suggest you to give her employment... And ...

Both of you will get a free chance to enjoy pleasure moments behind the bars... Free Accommodation, Free Food, Free Cards..and even free ticket to your home country...

So don't waste your time... jump into the deal...

Have a nice ...

ask for a release,if not stay away from such people, you will end up in a big problem in multiple counts, encouraging a person who ran away from sponser, not informing the police of such person, keeping a lady what relationship you had,if at all any theft or other crimes involved by her you also will have to answer 101 questions, beter stay away

away from the situation. It is a 200Qr a DAY fine for being here without an RP. Are you prepared to pay her fine? Most likely she will end up in the deportation center. Tell her she has to clear this up BEFORE you agree to employ her. Myself, I wouldn't trust her as she's shown to be irresponsible.

her previous sponsor and then you can apply to sponsor her. I'd be a bit concerned about her staying her illegally. Where does she live? Did she run away from her previous sponsor? I'd be concerned if you don't get clear and honest answers to these questions.
