E-gate card

Any idea if e gate cards can be made for children under 18( i have 2 kids under 5!). If not then how do parents who have e-gate cards get through immigration with kids who don't.
Also does anyone know what the timings are for the counter that makes the e-gate cards at the airport?

Not a frequent traveler but trying to avoid long immigration lines with 2 naughty kids in tow. I have been hearing of really long immigration lines at the airport recently!

Its open until 6pm every week night. As far as I know anyone with a valid passport can have an e-gate card.

I would imagine not. They need to work the machine on their own as only one person at a time is supposed to pass through the gate.
