I work on airport road and my kids go to Dess, WE LIVE ON SALWA ROAD HALFWAY BETWEEN THE TWO IT TAKES US 15- 20 MINS AT THE MOMENT TO GET TO SCHOOL AND ANYTHING FROM 15 MINS TO 45 MINS TO GET TO WORK AND ON THE WAY HOME EVES IS UP TO AN HOUR FROM THE AIRPORT AS D RING ROAD IS CLOSED.SCHOOL ON THE WAY HOME CAN BE UP TO 45 MINS AT THE MO BECAUSE OF RAMADAN, I believe it will ease at lunchtime when Ramadan finishes, but will be busier in the evening for coming from work.

If you can avoid ind area roundabouts on way to work it will help but because of the roadworks at the moment it is difficult. Decoration roundabout /al waab /al saad, all about half way between the two.

I lived in Alsaad for a while, very commercial and easy access to shops, but Traffic can be bad. Buy the gulf times and see what's available.

Buy a full sized satellite map of Doha believe it will help a lot.

Best Place would be Al Saad or Markhiya or Bin Omran
