Croup (respiratory infection)?

A friend has just advised that his young daughter has been diagnosed with a lung/respiratory infection called "Croup" which has the potential to be quite serious. He thinks she may have picked it up at the nursery.

I would be interested to know if any other young children have been diagnosed with this in Qatar. For more information on Croup, see the link below.
