So...is it the same bunch of over the hill acrobats and freaks that were there last year then or not? those that left the bear?

there are no preentations to be held in Qatar, only in UAE.

The show name is ALEGRIA, and is dated to start on March 5th to April 5th, 2009 .

And like I said before The Cirque du Soleil do not perform with animals, only humans. So the one that left the bear wasn't them. And the one performing right now is not them either.

Regards!!

If I'm not mistaken, there are no animals in The Cirque du Soleil, only humans performing.

Novita

Are you sure they did abandon that bear?

Novita,

Mostly East- European Gypsies, China, India and other nations, still using Circus bears.

I have one article report on Circus bears from one the many National Geographic Magazines that i had read before. Interesting enough some of those bears species are listed as endanger. European bears is one of them.

The sad part is that most of those bears, the mothers were sacrificed in the process of capturing those bear Cubs, all in the name of the circus life.

There is many horror stories behind that practice.
