Cedars
Hi all,
We have been affected by the recent closure of Cedars School. Apparently we are due to have monies returned to us. However, I understand the business is bankrupt so therefor would not be liable for its debts. Or is that just in USA?
Also does anyone know how/why this happened? We are relatively new to Qatar... does this kind of thing happen a lot?

Cedars were never legally a school. They've been operating under a tutoring licence for nearly 10 years and now that they've been caught, they've taken everyone's money and run off.
They are like Gympanzee play centre in Villagio where money mattered more that legality and safety.
We have been robbed in broad daylight. Many of the parents I know haven't been able to send their children to decent schools because their school allowance had been stolen by Cedars!
Now they want to open a new school called Phoenix using our stolen money! Anybody intending to apply to Phoenix, be warned, the people behind this are unscrupulous and shameless!
