Can anyone please suggest where to stay??

Hi everybody,

I will be working in Ras Laffan and will be going and coming back from RLIC daily.Can anyone please suggest any area nearby to live with the family??My budget is 4000QR per month approximately.

Where exactly this Madina khalifa is located? Can you please tell how far it is from Ras Laffan??

Al Khor is not bad at all...

It has everything.....

Shopping Centres, Money Transfer, Malabari Caffetari/Restaurants, Schools, Traffic/Labour Department, Al Khor Hamad (Govt) Hospital, Parks, Beach, a brand new Port (finger jetties et all), solititude, laidback, no traffic jams....even Computer parts/repair shops.

And for QR 4,000 you might get a ok 2room house which you might not get in Doha City. And honestly you will be travelling 30min(50Kms) to & 30 min from office at peak hrs.

In the City I travel 12Kms in 45minutes at peak hour.

I guess you are lucky.

Al Khor reminds me of Cochin, Kerala .

In that case you have to wake up at 4.00 in the morning. be ready to drive 1 1/2 hrs each way.

Alkhor you will get bored. Search somewhere at Madina Khalifa, Dhuhail near North road.

Area is Al Khor for sure. No idea about the rent there.
