Hello everyone! My sister is thinking of working in CISG in Doha. Does anyone know of anyone who works there? Any feedback, good or bad will be much appreciated.
Hmm... sounds like teething problems for a brand new school to me. I didnt know that there have been teachers resigning. You seem to know whats happening in there. What are the key personnel doing to improve the situation, do u know? Or are they just sitting on their behinds? I want my sister to have an overseas working experience (2-year contract), but if she is going to be unhappy there, I will tell her to forget it. Still, is there any ray of hope that things will improve over time?
If your sister has other alternatives, I would advise her to go for another school. I can assure you it will be nothing but constant inconvenience. No adequate guidance, no annual plans, no sufficient support from the head or managers, a never-ending problem of making copies of your worksheets and the materials that never arrive in time even though you order them weeks before are all typical and every day problems of CISG. Moreover, you might have heard that there have been many teachers who have resigned this year, so tell your sister to think twice!!!
