I went for dinner at Peppers. Good food,good ambience and excellent service. I liked the buffet.

Best is Saffron in Katara...

To me they are ironic. The uglier and more disturbing they look, the better they taste.

It got to the point were .. well, let's not even get there! lol

1- Royal Indian (in the mall)

BB...The Village I mentioned was the one next to Hediard shop on salwa road...:)

There is one village near Oyster restaurant (I guess the one HGL) is telling about... good only for South Indian food...

Try Aalishan, very nice ambience, good service and comfortable. They have lunch buffet on week days for QR 35-40 and on weekends QR 60.

Try OSSRA near MANNAI ROUND & BABY SHOP

For Veg: SARAVANA BHAVAN.

For Non Veg: Deccan Diwan/ Doha Rocks.

Buffet in order of my personal preference of the food (North Indian taste) : Sukh Sagar, Chingari, Star of India, Caravan , Village (I would personally not go there any more, their food doesnt taste Indian now leave aside North Indian).

P.S.: None of the above can actually come even closer to what a typical NI food tastes, but the list is best amongst what is available (as per my taste buds)...:)
