I have a referral from QP Clinic, and i want to setup an appt at Women's hospital for further consultation. Do i have to visit the primary health centre first? or can i go directly to the women's hospital and fix an appointment. URGENT ADVISE REQUIRED.
By the way, the outpatient entrance is under renovation, so the entrance is through the main entrance for women's hospital. Keep a full 15 minutes for you to reach the entrance from the start of the women's hospital lane, because it can have crazy traffic.10am till noon being the craziest.
Call the women's hospital call centre and they will fix you an appointment. You can call only in the morning from 7-2. I think the number is 44398000. Let me know if it's wrong.
If they insist on checking the referrals, then you can visit the outpatient department of the women's hospital, in the morning (daily) or during the evening clinic (sun, mon, wed, not sure of tuesday) and get an appointment.
As long as you have a referral, there won't be a problem getting an appointment.
I would advice evening clinic, less rush, even ultrasound appt gets over in less than 15 mins. Make sure you are there' for your appt at least 15 mins before time, if you are late, then you will miss the appt and they may not see you the same day, unless you plead with the doctor or the reception.
You can directly go the department were you want to seek appointment , you can show your qp documents ,they will fix an appointment with a docter on the available date on the hamad card.
