Any regrets moving to Qatar?

We are still contemplating whether to move the whole family (3 kids below 8 yo) to Qatar or not. Have been offered job but have not accepted.

As with all other families with young children, we are seriously worried if we will be making a mistake to move from Malaysia to Qatar.

Would love to hear from you all, whether any of you have any regrets moving over or has it been blue skies and everything nice since landing in Qatar....

Thanks in advance!!

Thanks everybody for taking time to reply.

Looks like nobody seems to have any major regrets.  That's a plus sign

opened my eyes and found myself here but I will not regret it ... waited 26 years to meet such wonderful people here on QL ... evreything happened for a reason ... still thinking up to now sometimes of my dearest friend here on QL and how did we met ... won't even dream about that ... makes me believe more ... everything is happening for a reason ...

no...not at all from my side(ok..I DO miss my sons). I love it here.  Will have to say tho, at times trying to get things done can wear on you mentally. Just remember things here work slower than they do back home....

Now all that being said..i don't have young children over here, so can't offer up any insight into that version of it.
