My son is 22 and wants to join us in Qatar for a few months what sort of visa can we apply for and is it possible. He may want to come and go quite regularly is that possible what restrictions may we find on this.

get him under your sponsorship, contact your office person who arranged the visa for you. they will help

once hes on your sponsorship he can easily come and go.

(Ps: but out of qatar over 6 months the visa becomes void)

Hi Joanne,

As the above answer suggests your 22 year old Son who is an adult can come and go on a tourist Visa which as British Passport Holder he will get on arrival, for QR120 and is valid for 30 days. He can extend that same visa for another 30 days at the Airport Immigration office behind the Oryx Rotana Hotel without leaving the country.

You didn't say what country he is a citizen of. If he is on a US passport, he can come in on a tourist visa and pay the QR100 visa fee at the airport. If he wants to stay longer than 30 days, you can extend for an add'l 30 days, for another QR100 (of course), at the immigration office, near Oryx Hotel.

I'm sure other countries have this same type of allowance, but you would have to double check.
