whatever the name Aaryan is muslim or not i think theres nothing wrong with that as long as the person doesn't affect his/her personality.. he/she still a gift from god to his/her parents..

hey shamsiec, mate just stick to the answer of "realsomeone" he is right, any name which doesnt bring any disgrace or abuse can b a muslim name. but yeah, ofcourse there are many preferred name's in islam.. so if u wanna opt one, better go for a special one like Abdullah or Abdurrahman.

It is definitely a Persian name and Shahrukh Khan has given Persian names to both his kids, Aryan and Suhana..

I think it is a Muslim name bcoz Persians are Muslim, aren't they? In my country Pakistan, most of the names, especially female names are Persian. Come to think of it, my real name, my mother's name, my cousins etc all are Persian.

The Persian version of Aaryan means Strong. The Indian version of Aaryan means Illustrious. Aaryans were the orignators of Hinduism.
