How about the family life in Qatar? 7000+5000(hra) QR is enough to run a family ? How about the medical facilities over there? My wife is pregnant, I am planning to bring her to Qatar after 3 months. how about the delivery expenses?

how long it will take to get a family visa after my arrival to qatar? is there any salary limitations to apply for a family visa ?

regards

You must have a base salary of 10,000 to apply for a family visa.

thats not true buddy. i have had friend's wives come on visit visas and deliver here.

only thing is he might have to shell out slightly more money than a RP holder.

If your wife is on Visit Visa, you will have a very big problem in having her give birth here in Qatar.

Again, I'm not 100% sure but Qatari Government will not allow a person on Visit Visa to even enter the country more than 6 months pregnant or give birth. But again, check with others....

let me summarize things for you.

1) the salary is good enough (please check with ur pro though and HR as the new rule is 7500 basic for Family RP if Company pays for accommodation and 10k Basic if you have to manage it yourself).

2) Medical facilities are good. Go to Hamad card and get a medical card and you pay peanuts for treatment.

3) You cannot get family visa until you have 6 months bank statement. Your best bet would be to bring your wife here on a family visit which can be extended upto 6 months (by which you should have your bank statements).

Finally, how long your RP would take to process is a question which no one can answer. It can be done in 1 day or may even take 3 months. All depending on your pro + your luck.

In the beginning you have to keep an eye on your expenses because you have to arrange all household items, but once you finish buying all then it's fine.

While your salary will not be an issue in having a Family Visa. I think that the Family Visa will only be issued after 6 months, where the proof of your salary will be captured in Bank Statements.

The government is very strict on this regard, unless you or your company have "Wasta" in the Government.

Though I can be wrong, but that is what I have recently learned.

According to me i think its more than enough but it also depends on your expenses!!! any how i think it is enough.

and if your wife is pregnent its very nice facility in qatar ,if u have a health card then delivery is free only you have to pay the bed charges.and bed chrges will be qr 100 per day thats it.

if you have permenent vis for yor wife her delivery will be free.........but dont forget to make her health card ok.
